THE LOUNGE-O-LUX
A well-reclined example of Mergili Nuevo Retro.
This is a cabinet in the spirit of '50s-60s home stereo consoles. It's made to fit a Dynaco ST70 tube amplifier and your choice in speaker configuration.
Pictured is the prototype--a burgundy tolex trapezoidal with a swivel base. A separately enclosed stereo speaker area uses two 8" woofers, mid drivers, and tweeters on the far corners for stereo separation.
The amplifier drawer pulls out whilst operating. Display the glowing goodness!
