THE LOUNGE-O-LUX

A well-reclined example of Mergili Nuevo Retro.

This is a cabinet in the spirit of '50s-60s home stereo consoles. It's made to fit a Dynaco ST70 tube amplifier and your choice of speaker configuration.

Pictured is the prototype--a burgundy tolex trapezoidal with a swivel base. A separately enclosed stereo speaker area uses two 8" woofers, mid drivers  and tweeters on the far corners for stereo separation.

The amplifier drawer pulls out whilst operating--display the glowing goodness! 

A preamp , CD player or  Ipod can set  atop.
